Ultra Violet – Ultra Fast:
Ashmore Ryder has a long tradition of using the very latest in vehicle refinishing technology to provide high quality, ultra durable finishes on any car in any colour. We are also constantly striving to reduce the time a customer’s car takes to repair so that they can get back on the road as quickly as possible. One of the latest innovations introduced into our paintshop neatly combines these objectives by using the power of ultra violet light.
Key members of our paintshop team recently completed training on the innovative Sikkens UV Autoclear system. This is one of the world’s fastest drying vehicle refinish clear lacquers, specially formulated for use on the latest basecoat and clear car finishes.
This amazing clearcoat completely dries in just six minutes in our advanced spraybooth and forms a scratch resistant superb high gloss finish. The flexible product can be used on jobs of any size and on metal and plastic. It also offers easy mixing and application to allow our skilled painters to complete their high quality work in less time.
Sikkens UV Autoclear is also kind to the environment because it requires less energy for paint drying, while the advanced formulation system uses less material.
The use of Sikkens UV Autoclear, plus other Sikkens UV products, means that cars can be repaired and perfectly refinished in less time, without any compromise on quality. Many accident repair centres in Ireland have yet to see the light, but Ashmore Ryder is already using the very latest in UV technology to get customers back on the road faster with the perfect paint finish.
Winter Motoring Tip – Seeing For Safety:
If you are struggling with a fogged up windscreen in the cold and wet weather then it could be time to get your air conditioning system serviced. Air con systems do not just have to work hard in summer but also perform vital work in winter as the most efficient way to demist a dangerous fogged up screen.
Ashmore Ryder can offer a full air con service at an affordable price and also ensure your AC system is in great condition for when the temperature rises.

F1 On Ice:
Grand Prix racing in the snow and ice might seem like a mad idea, but young F1 ace Max Verstappen was prepared to give it a try recently.
Verstappen drove a Red Bull RB7 race car down the world famous Kitzbühel downhill course in Austria after the car had been lifted to the top by helicopter. The RB7 was complete with studded tyres and snow chains and a specially raised suspension. He made it down the mountain in one piece and you can see how he got on in the You Tube video below.
